The work is pulled out from a kiln with a maximum temperature of 1200 degrees Celsius, and fired using a rare technique called"drawer black,"in which the ash turns black and the soil surface turns silver due to a chemical reaction caused by quenching. There is a dent in the middle to fit your fingers, making it easy to hold.
